Hello

I have a 2014 Subaru forester (silver) and 2015 Subaru legacy (blue - darker blue). the leg has never been washed by me, only had it a month. I got a good deal on it because of hail damage

I have read that clear coat is soft on these cars, I purchased the porter-cable and Menzerna kit from here and also added some mezerna products along with many cleaning and detailing products.

I have the FG400 IP2000 FF2500 FF400 and FF4500 the PL and the menzerna wax ( i most likely wont use the wax it just came in the kit.)

after reading here it seems for the 2015 i should only need the FF4000 on a polish pad and maybe even that for the 2014 (i need to wash and inspect the 2014's paint)

my plan was ff4000 > ff4500 > PL > PL

am i heading in the right direction ?

Sounds like a good start. You may not Evan need the 4500 depending on how the 4000 finishes.

IME, SF4000 on a polishing pad will give you great results on Subaru paint. Only one way to really find out and that's with a test spot.

I have a 2011 Outback and if the clear is the same as mine, get any bird droppings off immediately. It etches right into the clear in a matter of hours. I have detailer and microfiber in my car just because of this.
By the way, where are you located? I have hail damage on 3 of our cars from about 3 or 4 weeks ago in northern Illinois.
