This is an update to the previous posts related to my DISO issue:

First off, a big thank you to Mike for recommending the THIN meg foam pads for the PC ... what a difference in the power of the machine! It was also much easier to handle and maneuver than using the thicker pads. Thanks!

So I used the WG twins to remove 90+% of the swirls. Perfection was not what I set out to accomplish so I am incredibly happy with the results. Pictures Below.

Here's my new dilemma - as prescribed, I applied TSR followed by the Finishing Glaze. I never got around to top it with my LSP (Colinite 915) and its been 2 weeks. I did a single rinseless wash with PLG (with carnauba) in those 2 weeks, just because. I can tell some slight swirling has reappeared.

Am I screwed and have to start over or can I make a pass with the FG and top it with LSP? Any other suggestions?

I recently picked up the XMT FG With Carnauba as well (AG BOGO!) in case that it something I can also use.

I also have a fresh bottle of CG M-Seal ... does that fit in here?

Thanks in advance!
Nick

What I was up against:

Left untouched, right single pass with TSR:

Left untouched, right second pass with TSR:

Could you define "single pass"?

I ask because you mentioned that after a wash you noticed marring has returned. I might speculate that oils in the TSR might have masked your swirls until you washed it and they then "returned".

If you only went over the work area one time, then you likely didn't remove many of the swirls at all.

Thanks for the response.
I made 2 passes with TSR and 1 pass with the FG. I failed to mention I then did an IPA wipe down. As the pics show the difference was considerable though i do know subaru paint is notoriously soft and concerned that i went too long without a protective LSP layer.
The condition of the paint as it stands today is still considerably better than when i started.

I should clarify further -
My "passes" describe a completed panel of crosshatch section passes.

Hope i didnt make this more confusing.
