Do you think I need to
polish my car? I was thinking not, but I also haven't clayed it yet.
If i was gonna polish it would either be m205 or s4500

I think it looks great, but there weren't too many close up shots of the paint.

I think the notion that one "needs" to polish a car is relative. It all depends upon how great you want it to look, and I have the suspicion that your ROI would be small for your car.

Unless, however, you're thinking of putting a coating on your car. Then I would clay, polish and coat. Your choices of m205 or SF4500 are great for that. Could also try Sonax Perfect Finish.

Looks beautiful!! I would clay for sure....as for polishing...if you want to then do so. It appears it doesn't from what I can tell. SF4500 has very little cut and is an excellent "jeweling" polish.

IMO it couldn't hurt either, however, based on your pics you probably do not have to polish...only if you "feel the need".

kevincwelch is correct...if you are putting on a coating, clay, polish and coating. If you are doing it the old fashion way (like me)...just clay (from what I can tell no need for polish) and sealant or wax or both.

Beautiful ride BTW!!

It really all depends on after you clay. some cars may mar more than others, also depends on paint color. just an example i just finished my son's car He has a black infiniti q50. after claying with nano skin i had to polish. And just to let you know i tried sf4000 first and it didnt take out much. i had to use fg400. I probably could have used a medium polish but i didnt have one on hand.

If you want the ultimate shine/gloss then you need to clay and polish.
Not a fan of green, but that green looks cool and so does your wheels.

Thanks all for the answers, I have plenty more left to do with my car. Plan on cyber gray stripes with ghost flames inside. I did just do the clay test and I can tell, it needs it for sure. Should I use iron X and clay? Also if its does mar would I be better off using m205? Camaros are known for decently hard paint so im hoping no marring will happen when i do clay.

Alright will do! What about the polish you think m205 with gray pad to remove any marring?

It really depends on how much marring you get. you can try 205 but i think a white pad may be better than a grey. If it dont take out the marring then you will have to step it up.
