A mate of mine recently traded his BMW 335i GT in for a second hand Alpine White BMW F10 M5 with little over 20k km's on the clock. After seeing the car on a daily basis for two weeks, I finally managed to convince him to leave the car with me for a detail. According to his knowledge the car had been polished by BMW when he made the purchase. The car had visible swirl marks, but nothing too bad considering the hard clearcoat you get on the BMW's. This was also the perfect candidate for me to test out my newly purchased Cyclo Dual Head Polisher ( Speed variable model ( AFAIK it's the only of it's kind in SA  )). Onto the detail ..... We ( or I actually ) decided that a 2 step would be best to deal with the hard clearcoat. I started off with Menz FG400 and later followed up with Menz PF2500

I failed to take before pictures of the car

After the 2 step correction I decided on Collinite #845 for LSP. Applied at a slow-ish speed with the new Cyclo and left to haze before buffing off. The tires got dressed and windows cleaned while I waited for the LSP. I also decided to give the interior a quick vacuum as it didn't feel right detailing the outside but leaving the inside dirty

Yes that is the converter to change voltage from 230 odd to about 110 volts for the polisher

The weekend before the detail my friend had to go to Boksburg with the car and he took me with. OMG OMG OMG what an amazing put together car this is. The launch isn't too brutal, it want's to run sideways the whole time  a driver who doesn't have his shLt together, shouldn't get loose behind the wheel of this monster

Thanx for having a look
