I started detailing a Black 2012 Chevy Tahoe. I started with Menzerna FJ400 w/ LC Hybrid blue pad. My plan was to follow up with SF4000 using Hybrid White pad and 3rd step using Wolfgang finishing glaze.

Is using SF4000 and then WG Finishing Glaze as a 3rd step, doing the same thing and I'm just wasting time?

Yes, using those two would be redundant.

IMO FG400 1st and then SF4000 and then LSP No need for Glaze. IMO Glaze is used to hide minor blemishes and since you have used SF4000 there are no blemishes. I would say go on to an LSP whether it be a sealant or wax...save your arms and time!! At least that is what I would do.

Here is the most recent Black SUV I did. I used FG400 and then followed up with SF4500 then Power Lock sealant and Polish Angel Liquid Wax.

I like sealant and then wax but some say that's redundant too!!

The SF4000 is the beez kneez. Not too bad at removing minor swirls either.

Thanks. I went with the 4000. 2nd detail and I'm starting feel more comfortable with the Flex.

While Wolfgang calls it a glaze, I think it's actually a polish so it's not hiding swirls, it's removing them! Still a redundant step though.
