Opti-coat Detailers in the NY/NJ area

Hi Everyone,

I'm interested in getting my new, black audi Opti-coated. I don't have a garage (yet), and from what I understand, it's one of the best ways to preserve paint.

There are three certified detailers in the area that I'm considering, and I'm hoping you can share your (good/bad) experiences with them:

- signature blue auto care (brooklyn, ny)
- signature detailing (hillsborough, nj)
- technik 1 (ny, ny)

I guess you have narrowed it to those 3 and are only looking for reviews, rather than other Opti-Coat installers?

That's who I was going to suggest but sometimes people get testy when you go outside the parameters of their question.

I'm in Rahway, NJ and open to other suggestions. The three I mentioned seemed to be the closest.

Norwood is about an hour away. Is it worth the hike?

Phil has a very good reputation. Greg at Signature has a nice shop and seems to do good work. I have no personal experience with any of them.
