TUF SHINE Pro Series Applicator Sponge (http://www.autogeek.net/tuf-shine-pro-series-applicator-sponge.html)

Just wondering how it stacks up for tire gel? Better than the current foam ones?

You will never get dressings out of this sponge, which will make it a filth magnet. I have acquired several of these, and haven't found a real use for them. I don't use them with TS anymore (which is easy to clean out of the sponge).

These sponges seem like closed cell foam.

If you don't get the Tuff Shine tire coating out of it the sponge turns into a concrete block :(

I always use these for waxing/sealing , because i like the way they fit my hand. They never come clean afterwards. Pretty much disposable. They are also great for interior trim wipe downs using your preferred product. It would be nice item to be able to buy in bulk.

So what do you use?

I currently use these brushes.

They forever changed the way tire gel is applied. I HATED and did not use gel until these. I never found a good foam applicator. Period. I use them with opti-bond tire gel.

I use the blue foam applicators. They contour to the tire well and provide an even coat every time. Just don't drop it otherwise it picks up debris from the ground. 1 usually lasts 75 or so applications since you can use both sides.
