Is anyone adding Duragloss AW to a QD? I was thinking of adding an ounce of AW to Duragloss #521
Thanks...

FC&S and AW should work well together

Have you tried that combo?

have not tried yet...will mix up tomorrow...I like to QD the car once or twice a week and straight AW maybe too much...plus mixing with #521 makes it a great detailer plus just the right amount of AW for shine without build up...

the AW in #521 works fine...and i dont have to worry about too much build up of the AW affecting the shine....Jerry at Duragloss confirmed that an ounce per 10 oz of #521 would be good....he also confirmed that the AW was produced to be used as a stand alone wax/sealant when washing / drying the car or standalone once a month or longer...

I'll also confirm 521 or FC&S and AW is a winning combination. You really don't see a difference appearance-wise but water certainly beads better...

Last summer I was doing mixes and asking Jerry about ratios...he was intrigued at the Idea and asked me to keep him posted..I started at a 50/50 ratio and that took away the cleaning of the FC&S so I worked it down.....I got to 1oz of AW to 10oz of FC&S....and it worked great....Jerry himself then tried the mix and agreed that that was the right mix for added boost to FC&S with out diluteing the cleaning properties....they actually never tried this till I asked about it...now I use the mix with the Marine Detailer #521 the same way..its has worked out very well....gives the paint a little added protection...especially in places like door jams and paint areas in the engine areas....

Using the mix weekly or after a wash and AW monthly has been very good....

Jerry said I have given him some interesting Ideas on some future products maybe..lol...
