View Full Version : Considering trying a new rinse-less wash...

I've used ONR for years and like it, but I have an itch to try something new. My only complaint with ONR is that my car is tough to dry. I'm not saying ONR is causing this either, but I'm thinking about trying something else.

Does anyone know of a rinse-less wash that's super easy (slick) to dry?

I really like the Garry dean stuff it's expensive but versatile.

I think 114 is just as versatile as gary dean and much cheaper.

Ive been using IUDJ since it came out and I love it. While the cost up front may seem like a lot its really not. 1 gal of product concentrate will make 55 gal of ready to use product.

Ive been very happy with it and see no need to change. Its worth a try imo.

Despite all the positive reviews of IUDJ, it's hard for me to get on board with a "do-it-all" product; I think it's the detailer in me. It just doesn't compute, lol.

I had good luck the last time I dried my car when I used Optimum Instant Detailer as a drying aid. I might keep trying this and see how it works out. Sometimes I get streaking with OID.

D114 hands down. I've tried DG931, ONR, ONRWW, D114, UWW+ as rinseless washes, while all these are good D114 stands out.

What makes it stand out to you?

I'm a big Meguiar's fan btw. Before my AG days, I used primarily Meg's OTC products, which are great OTC products for sure btw.

D114 is the stuff that leaves nothing behind right?

One thing I like about ONR, the regular ONR, is that it leaves a little something behind. In the summer, it's not uncommon for me to wash the car 2-3 times per week. The more I wash it, the glossier it gets (maybe it's in my head, but then again, as long as it's in my head, that's what counts? ha).

I feel it cleans better, leaves no streaks, and is easier to dry than the others. DG931 and ONRWW both seemed to smear and streak when drying especially on windows. I reserve UWW+ for strictly waterless washes.

I bought D114 during winter to try out and so far it's very good and super versatile. DP Rinseless Wash & Gloss was pretty awesome as well.
