I know D151 has a sealant in it, but I also know it doesn't have the greatest durability. I was wondering if topping D151 with DG 105 would be effective since DG 105 has a chemical cleaner in it. I'm guessing that the DG 105 will remove any protection that the D151 would leave behind. Or should I step up to DG 501 to remove the D151's protection?

Thanks,
Connor

Applying one AIO after the other makes no sense...D151/DG501. I'd stay within the Megs system if you've already applied D151. Had you done DG501 first, then yes, follow up with DG105. I'd just put on Megs D156 after D151. Apply once a month and you can go indefinitely. D156 is a must have product. Its durability is underrated.

Makes no sense working backwards by removing something you've already applied.

501 had a pretty weak cut and I'm trying to add something with more/longer protection. We like the characteristics D151 has (long working and SMAT) and it's cutting ability. Not so much it's sealant though.

We have tried a bottle of UQW and really love it. We are buying a gallon of D156 very soon.

Then I'd suggest just putting a wax or sealant over your 151, not a cleaner wax/aio type product.

If you're okay with taking the time to do D151 and then apply a sealant, why not just use a med cut polish like menzerna 2500 as a one step then follow with a sealant?
