Ok, I have to admit I failed to plan ahead and will end up ordering more IronX from AG regardless. Among other things, if history is any indication.

BUT....I have a detail that involves a coating this weekend and just realized I'm low on the stinky stuff and obviously want to include this as part of the process. Is there any alternative? I fear I already know the answer but thought I'd throw this out there.

Thanks for your consideration and be gentle :)

Meguiars Dub wheel cleaner, but I don't know how well it works on paint. It is an iron dissolver though.

I am not sure there really is an OTC option to Iron-X.

But I think rms64 Just found out where to get some.:bat:

Griots Garage Heavy Duty Wheel Cleaner works. I have tried it.

LOL thanks folks - I kinda suspected this would be the answer. I'm pursuing an alternative - but don't get me wrong - AG will be receiving an order shortly. :xyxthumbs::xyxthumbs:

I have used it on paint. I don't know if it is as effective as Iron-X.

I have tried both on paint. DUB is far less effective than IronX.
