Im looking to buy a steamer, I dont need anything fancy as im just a hobbyist and will only be using it on a handful of vehicles. What would be a good unit to get started with without breaking the bank?

I have this one, and it isn't the top of the line but as a hobbyist with the occasional weekend "customer" it does all I need it to do.

Mytee Firebird VS1500 Vapor Steamer, car steam cleaning machine (http://www.autogeek.net/mytee-firebird-vs1500-vapor-steamer.html)

Good luck!

Mcculloch 1385 I think it is. Much better than the 1275 you get at harbor freight. I use it every day and really like it. Are others better? Probably. But for the price I don't see how it can be beat

I got the McCulloch MC1275. This is obviously a light duty steam cleaner meant for more personal use. I use it in the cars and around the house. I think it works really well. If you're using it occasionally, I think it's a good purchase.
