DA Polisher on autobahn?

Just picked up my Porta Cable kit. My mustang has Autobahn 3m film on the first 6" of hood, and along the rocker panel sides.

Can I polish the autobahn with DA or stay clear of it during the swirl removal stage?
What about waxing stage?

Anyone? I'm going to assume I should stay clear of the Autobahn 3m clear.

I would go with Xpel ultimate over any film on the market. I have it on the entire front end of my car.

Do yourself a favor and look into it.

The autobahn seems very low end as far as PPF is concerned

Yes you can polish it with a VERY light polish and a blue, black, or red pad. Start with the red and if it doesn't work go to black, if that doesn't work go to blue.

Megs UP might be OK, but I'd suggest nothing harder cutting than that or Menz 2500. I'd start with Menz 4000 and look at it.

Another one that I've used on my PPF bra (that is WELL beyond it's 5 year lifespan) is Duragloss 101 (in a red box). My bra is old, and is getting foggy (removed it from the hood already) and after a light polish with 101 it'll look good for months. :)
