Hi guys,

I recently compounded, polished and waxed my car last week. (Used meguiars Ultimate compound, ultimate polish, and ultimate liquid wax). I'm pleased with the results, but I found a few swirls I wasn't able to remove on the hood and door panels. Would I need to strip the wax and then repolish, and reapply wax, or would ultimate compound remove the wax (applied last week) and I could just reapply wax afterward.

Thanks.

Compounding will remove wax.

^ yep

whatever you do to abrade the surface will crush the LSP you applied, even if you just polish a bit to remove the swirls.

You don't have to go as far as compounding either, the polish will remove the wax and perhaps the swirls as well, remember least aggressive method first.
