Got my new set of MF towels in and figured Id do a little review because there's not much info on them.

Took a chance and picked up 40 of ahtowels or A&H towels 700gsm. They gave me a military discount so I ended up paying like ~$1.65 each which is crazy.

I got these with the sole purpose of using them for my rinseless washes to replace my gold plushes. Initial impression is that they're really nice and very soft. They seem nice and sturdy which is what I want in a rinseless towel and have one long side and one short side.

I have 30 MFT Elite edgeless 400gsm that I was hoping to use for rinseless but theyre so soft and floppy that once theyre soaked in solution they turn into a ball of warm bubblegum that wont hold a shape. Theyre still amazing towels and crazy soft so they are now dedicated to LSP.

The A&H towels are actually like 14x14 which is a little disappointing but not a big deal for how nice they are and the price.

Im very happy with them and think theyre gonna be awesome for my rinseless but they feel so nice I would use them for LSP. The silk banding is what it is and I wish they were 16x16 but honestly for the price I cant complain at all.

Id love for someone like cardaddy to try them out and give an opinion. I have a fair amount of towels, ~300 but nothing like some of the guys here.

I have to ask, who did you buy these through and, what is the description they use for this towel? Looking at A&H's website, it's not clear which towel you purchased.

Thanks

I think theyre called the plush thick microfiber.
That's strange.
You just got them...
and don't know (or: can't/won't tell) what they're called?

If you read the OP, you can find out where he got them and Google it.

Lol calm down Bob. Im not sure what the rules are with stuff not sold on AG. Theyre on the website for A&H.

Hey Will.... e-mail me and we'll talk.

I think I know a towel that has VERY similar original construction (on the long side at least). It's sewn diagonally across, right?

Can't post a photo because it links to the seller site. And, it's just a rollover magnifying thumbnail.

(The color and texture, (that you posted) looks close for sure. (Although looking on the AH site they look more pastel green.).) :dunno:

Lol calm down Bob.

Who? Me?

-------------------------------------------------------------

I'm calm,
I'm calm,
I'm perfectly calm,
I'm utterly under control.
I haven't a worry:
Where others would hurry I stroll.

I'm calm,
I'm cool,
A gibbering fool
Is something I never become.
When thunder is rumbling
And others are crumbling,
I hum.

I must think calm comforting things,
Butterfly wings,
Emerald rings,
Or a murmuring brook,
Murmuring, murmuring, murmuring...look,

I'm calm,
I'm calm,
I haven't a qualm,
I'm utterly under control.
Let nothing confuse me
Or faze me-- [yawn] --

I'm calm,
I'm calm,
I'm perfectly calm,
Indifferent to tensions and shocks.
Unruffled and ready,
My nerves are as steady
As rocks.

I'm calm, controlled,
So cool that I'm cold,
Aloofer than any giraffe.
When something's the matter,
Where others would shatter
I laugh.

I must breathe deep, ever so deep,
Think about sheep
Going to sleep,
Stop and count up to ten, 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9...when

You need aplomb
And want to be calm
'Cause life is a horrible dream,

Just count up to ten
Very slowly, and then--

Hysterium!

I bought some great blue and grey 700gsm towels from AutoGeek. And they don't have a big stitch down the middle.

Are these two towels sewn together?

What is your opinion on the happy ending towels?

They appear to be each individual sides sewn together with an x.

The happy endings are nice enough. I got them on sale when they came out, if I was paying ~$3.00 each I would wait for MFT 470gsm edgeless to go on sale and buy those instead.

Yeah... those I'll bet are the (exact) same ones as from MFT.

My 700's are vlue on both sides. They make for great pollen getters! :D (Mist one side with QD/Waterless spray for the pollen pickup then take the Korean 500 edgeless and do final wipe.)
