Salt on the carpet

I don't have any interior tools. Will apc and elbow grease be the easiest way?

50/50 white vinegar and water..works best for me anyways.

I just did a car yesterday with the 50/50 mixture then topped it with megs APC and scrubbed.

The process that I use is to agitate with a stiff brush this will loosen the salt. I then sprinkle baking soda on the carpet and use ashop vaccum to pick up the salt, dirt and baking soda. Backing soda will help neutralize the salt.
