So a week ago I received my Blackfire Crystal Paint Coating ,I did two cars last week with stunning results.

Well last night I coated an older black Jeep, I coundn't believe my eyes , the reflection is unlike anything I've ever seen in my 30 years of detailing.

My steps to getting the results that shocked me.

We washed the Jeep using the 2 bucket method ,Maxi-Suds with a little Meguiar's APC.
Iron-X
Clay Barred
GG6 along with Meguiar's MF Cutting Pad using the Meguiar's Correction Compound
Flex 3401 along with a Lake Country White Flat pad using the m205
Wiped the Jeep down with some ONR to remove dusting
Prepped the paint using the Blackfire Prep Spray
One coat of the Blackfire Coating

Here's what I saw once I was done....

I can't say it's the best coating on the market as the Blackfire coating is the only one I've used but I'll say this, I don't know how I'd get more shine and reflexion than I see here.

I'll post more pictures once I'm all done with the Jeep, almost done. :dblthumb2:

Sweet,

My wife had a 1996 bright red Cherokee, I HATED that Jeep. Too many angles and edges for me ... but maybe If I had been using 5" pads instead of the 7.5" ones, things would have gone better

I used my rotary using a three inch pad on the tight areas.
Also did some by hand, like around the door hinges.

Took me longer than doing a full size truck.
Well worth it. :dblthumb2:

I agree they look great when they're done ... but getting there ... WHEW!

Looking good Kevin!

Those phone camera pictures don't do any justice. Time for a DSLR.

I know man, phone pictures suck compare to the real deal.
I'll have to find the time and start looking.
As of right now I don't have any idea on which to get.

I do have my laptop though. :dblthumb2:
