Here is my review of the new Blackfire Crystal Coat quartz based coating. The car is a black 2008 Corvette with over 90k miles. I did a ton of paint correction on this car about 3 months ago and the lsp was Wolfgang deep gloss sealant topped with Wolfgang Fuzion. I went to Autogeeks Detailfest and Nick set me up with the new BF coating. After using Opti gloss-coat and Cquartz UK with great results, i was anxious to try another coating. Blackfire crystal coat did not let me down and this is another great coating to chose from. The soft suede mf applicator turns hard as nails afterwards. Thats proof to me something special is protecting the paint and BF did it. The black corvette ended up with the melted glass look. The coating was easy to apply. High spots were easy to level with a mf towel. The Blackfire crystal coat paint prep was used before applying the coating. Just like the coating it was easy to do and did a good job. The coating comes out of the bottle fast and a little goes a long way. It doesn't completely flash away like opti gloss-coat and its not as thick as Cquartz UK. Its as easy as apply the coating and level high spots with a mf towel. The 4oz bottle should do 3 or 4 cars with no problem. I am a big fan of coatings and the melted glass look with 2 years of protection. This corvette is another car i am proud to have driving around with my business name on it advertising for me. In the pic of products used you can see the windshield, leather seats, and tires were also coated with other coatings. If you want to see more pics the car it is posted on my FB page. I went to the Autogeek boot camp about a year ago and i have been on a crazy cool ride with a successful new career ever since. Other detailers have become good friends and everyone at Autogeek has always been very helpful. I have to say Thank you to Mike Phillips and Nick Rutter who have always been there for me as mentors. Working on a post of my career change soon.

Nice before and after shots. Does BCC feel slick after applying?

Looks great! My truck is currently quarantined for the 24 hour curing time that BF Crystal Coat requires. I hope my truck looks as good as your vette does!

Ty - Hit me up sometime with a pm. Always nice to meet other detailers in the forums and in my area.

Rsurfer - Nice before and after shots. Does BCC feel slick after applying?

Ty - I think Opti gloss-coat feels the slickest when leveling high spots. The BF did not feel slick during the leveling of high spots but after curing it was smooth as glass.

HateSwirls - I ordered more today from AG.
It's that good folks!

lol - I am also addicted to ordering stuff from autogeek. I was happy to see the applicator hard as nails afterwards and the melted glass look.

RottenII - Gotta love perfect black paint. Great work!

Ty :xyxthumbs: - I agree nothing looks better than blk paint when its done right.

Krwtek1 - Looks great! My truck is currently quarantined for the 24 hour curing time that BF Crystal Coat requires. I hope my truck looks as good as your vette does!

Congratulations on getting your truck done! If you like the melted glass look you will love the way your truck looks. The BF coating did cure a little slower than Cquartz UK. When my client first looked at his car all done he said holy sh-t :dblthumb2:

Have to say that i was skeptical about coatings until now. Amazing job, have to order my own bottle of that stuff.

Are you sure you can do 3 cars? How much time you can storage the product once its open?

That IMG_3011 after picture looks beyond a perfect paint to me.
Very glossy and mirror effect :)

My full size crew cab truck with cap used less than 1/3 of the 4 ounce bottle. Being the first time i applied a coating i was probrably a little heavy handed.
