Long story short I was suggested to post this here from another forum so I figured why not join the community and see what Autogeek is all about.

I started my journey into amateur detailing when I bought my first car about 6 years ago and have always struggled with the correct dilutions at different container sizes. I am a graphic designer by day and although I am not really a developer I figured I could make a simple tool that would help me achieve this. Once I was done I thought to myself, "Hey, this might be useful for other people" so I threw it up on a domain for anyone to use.

Give it a shot and let me know what you think! (http://dilutioncalc.com)

It should work alright on mobile so you can bookmark it on your phones. If you have any suggestions please let me know, I am not the greatest with Javascript but I would be glad to do what I can.

I am looking forward to getting some good discussion in on Autogeek! Thanks!

Any way to throw in an IPA dilution calculator? Say 91% IPA to make a 10% solution?

Incredibly simple (for us of the math challenged set) and amazingly helpful. I'll give your work two thumbs and two big toes up for making my prep days smoother.

that's actually a great idea too. yep, most IPA base solutions are 91, 70 or 50 and people want to make stuff in the range of 15-25%. but also, sometimes you have a certain dilution of something, say, Power Clean, and want to take it to 10:1 from 3:1...or something. there is math to figure it out but in light of how easy this user's calculator is, it'd be neat to have that too.

thanks again.
