Clay lube is so expensive, and i use it liberally when I clay a vehicle. Used 6oz on my dad's truck. Does anyone use the foam from the foam gun for clay lube? It seems like a cheap way to be safe with clay lube. I guess some people mix ONR with water also...

Feed back please Thanks

The best cheapest clay lube is either buying Optimum No Rinse or DP 4 in 1. They have dilutions for clay lube. I have DP 4 in 1, and have a 32 oz spray bottle. The instructions say to put 1 oz of DP 4 in 1 in 31 oz of water. It works great, and you can make 32 bottles of clay lube out of it :D

I use the foam gun when doing my whole car, or someone elses car. When doing just small portions of a car I use a dedicated lube.

Then use Meguiar's Hyperwash. 400:1 dillution ratio, but just remember if you use a soap/water combination, you need rinse the car down afterwards.
