Hey guys, anyone have experience with maintaining carbon fiber? If so, is wax safe on it? Any cleaning methods used? I currently use all Adams car care products.

My carbon hood is clear coated so I just use what ever sealant/coating I use on the car. I noticed the clear was softer on my CF hood, so I had to be careful polishing out the marks.

I've noticed that CF parts sometimes have softer clears also. I've found that FMP does a nice job on them for the most part.

Yes, treat it like paint. So any wax/sealant/coating/etc will work for you.

Here she is, as you can see black shows all the swirl marks. Is there anything you guys recommend for swirl marks?

I'm a Meguiars guy, so I would recommend Ultimate Compound and Ultimate Polish as a tag-team combination on your car using a PC.

Now get ready for the flood of other product options ...
