Hey everyone,

Some of you who frequent DC may remember this Mustang, I take care of it a couple of times a year. I haven't used two of the same LSPs on it and this detail was no different. Sorry no before pictures, it wasn't in that bad of shape at all... just a little marring here and there from the car cover.

Process:
-Wash
-Dry w/ guzzler and blow gun
-Removed wheels and tires- cleaned with PB PP, topped with AW and the tires got Hot Shine
-Polished with Menzerna 106ff, PC, black CCS finishing pad, speed 6
-Topped with Wolfgang DGPS by hand

Pictures:

Interior- nothing major, just a quick vacuum and wipedown:

Can you see where the glass ends and the roof begins :)?

I did... first time actually. The swirls were not that bad at all, the car has been under a cover or in storage for 6-8 months and is rarely driven. I didn't want to cut the paint too much but I still wanted to freshen it up so I tried the black finishing pad and 106ff combo and liked the results. Mind you there are still a few stray deeper swirls but all of the fine stuff from the car cover is gone. I just let the Menzerna do to the work :). Glad I can get some stang owners to complement the detail. Thanks.

That car is beautiful. What a lot of work. Remove the wheels and tires? I take it's a show car.

No shows :o. I think this is my 5th full detail on it and I like to add in a little something here and there. Last year I did an engine detail, before that I did a deep interior cleaning and this time I decided to do the wheels. It's my girlfriends uncle's car and I'm the only person (other than himself) that he lets drive it, so I've got to take care of him / the car.

I took a close up picture of the wheels but they came out blurry, I'll see if I can snap some more this week. They came out much better but there was a little etching behind the spokes... and a lot of cob webs...
