Any suggestions?? I am looking for a low to mid price extremely "slick" or "slippery wax" to apply by hand. Where I live stone chips are an unavoidable reality no matter whether you are on the Interstate, State roads, etc. I am trying to find a wax or glaze final step or top coat that is so incredibly "slick" to the touch that if you set something on the hood it will pretty much roll off. Is there such a thing??? I am hoping to reduce the numbers or severity of chips. May not work, but want to try it.

No wax or sealant will reduce or prevent stone chips.....the force of the stone will chip any wax or sealant...the paint alone is much harder than a sealant or wax..and slickness will not prevent it either...the only thing to prevent stone chips is a clear bra by 3M....

If that existed NASA would be all over it for the Shuttle.

X2 but for a good slick wax i would recommend PB Nattys Red. This stuff is very slick with multiple coats and doesnt cost much.

Poorboys polish with sealant has to be the slickest product ive used but liquid sovereign is great too

I think AW is very slick, used some on my front painted bumper yesterday and today wiped my finger across it and it was slick as ice, forgot how much I liked this product.

If you want super slick and durable, you should try a sealant.

Out of AG's offerings I like DP MAX WAX the best for overall (taking price into consideration)

Souveran if $$ is not considered. I see Souveran more as a glaze than a paste wax, it applies like a liquid.

My experiences with Duragloss TPP 105 & Meguiars #21 Synthetic Sealant is very slick and durable. But for the stone chips I dunno...

For the price do you feel Poor Boy products are just as good, if not better, then such over the counter giants as Mothers and Meguairs?

While I think Mothers and Megs can put out a good product, I still feel a boutique product like Poorboys surpasses them in specializing in a given area of detailing.

Remember these are price point products, they must be designed not to go over a certain shelve price. As such compromises are more likely IMO. Boutiques are designed without costs being the 1st concern.

I'd wait for the reformulated OCW...

105 + Liquid Souveran + AW (after weekly washes) is as slippery as a snail trail. But more pleasant to deal with...:p
