I think I am getting better at this detailing thing, and have only you guys to thank. Just the techniques alone I have learned on here have made a huge difference.

No before pics, because it was already pretty clean, but I can't believe the insane reflections I got after this time. I was also racing an incoming afternoon storm, so I moved from complete sun to partial clouds when I snapped these.

I have to admit, I bought some non-AG products before I knew this site existed (I'll say they start with a "Z" and leave it at that), and I still use those as my LSP because I have them and they work well. I will be trying out some new ones as they run out though - once I get brave enough to put the PC on the Vette I will most likely try some XMT 360 topped with Souveran.

Products used:

-DP Waterless Car Wash
-DP Gel Wheel Cleaner
-DP Wheel Glaze
-Ultimate Guzzler
-Mother's Back to Black
-Cobra Microfiber Towels (Green) - these are way better than the MF I had before
-Polished with my illegal products

I really like how well the DP Wheel Cleaner cuts through the grime. I barely had to agitate the dirt at all with my brush and it came right off. I realized I need a new set of wheel brushes to reach far back into those deep wheels though. I'm also hoping that the DP Glaze will reduce how much brake dust builds up. There are some swirls on the car, especially in the back, but I figure for a 8 year old car that only had 8500 miles on it when I bought it a couple of months ago, it was probably washed more than it was driven so I'm hoping that none of those swirls were caused by me, I've been so careful!

Oh yeah, I realize that the windshield has water spots on it still but it was too hot to use my window cleaners in the sun without them streaking so that will come later, after they cool off some. I have heard good things about that Surf City stuff though, with no streaking, so I will give that a shot.

Look at those palm trees on the hood:

Zaino is a great line, and you are correct in the multiple products can be used together to bring out on delicious red finish. Get to that glass though, it clearly (pun) stands out !

(I thought that too about the glass...but wouldn't say it as I am not always great in that regards...)
