Does autogeek sell a paint marker or pen to mark discrepancies

Ha ha, great question! A traditional tool for this would be a china marker, which is kind a waxy, thick (red) pencil, I'm guessing mineral spirits would remove it. I have written on clearcoat with a sharpie, and that comes off with alcohol, but test that first because I don't want to be responsible for "who the f$*& gave me this scratch!" being on the side of your car for the rest of the time you own it...

That's a good idea. I'll just put a tiny dot where I need to polish and the dot will go away

If you can't get the sharpie off, scribble over it with a dry erase marker, then quickly wipe off. The carrier in a dry erase will also dissolve dried permanent marker and allow you to wipe it away.
This works on any non porous surface I've ever run into. Textured stuff is a little harder to remove, but it can be done.

I use a small piece of tape.
