I tried CG V07, which I love as a QD/spray sealant, but it didn't work all that well. Megs QD was ok, but then out of desperation I tried some GD Ultimate Use. I purchased it some time ago and was disappointed with it as a QD, but it worked GREAT as a drying aide. I was wondering what everyone else is using or if anyone else has use GD Ultimate use as a drying aide.

I am assuming this is to assist you in drying your car. If there are some dry spots you missed using a QD would help get rid of the spots. If that is the case then I like Duragloss Aquawax. IMO it is an excellent drying aid and is also a great QD. Blackfire Wet Diamond Spray is another.

Ultima WW+ It evaporates better that VO7 but actually does more than just evaporate!!! (VO7 is horrible IMO when compared with UWW+) Fantastic drying aide as it's purpose is a ww.

aquwax works well, but is not a QD but more of sealant spray with some wax. using it after every wash is overkill, if you want something that will accomplish the same thing while cleaning and leaving a little less protection than aquawax then get the dg rinseless wash and dilute to QD specs...

Best drying aide for me thus far, is a warm garage.

Just to clarify, I was using a QD to assist with drying. I've seen a couple videos, read some threads where people talked about using a damp MF towel with QD to dry faster and prevent scratches.
Thanks for the responses.

I've used so many different spray waxes/sealants/polymer sprays etc. I doubt I could even remember them all. Pretty much anything that sprays from the PBMG lineup I've tried (either samples or full bottles), along with various OTC stuff in years gone by, and of course the perennial favorites; Megs 156 and Duragloss 951 Aquawax. Far and away I use Aquawax more than the others. (At least on most cars.)

On my personal car I'll use it when drying, but then use either BF Wet Diamond Polymer Spray or WG Deep Gloss Spritz Sealant for QD duties. (I'll not reorder the BF though when it's gone.) I prefer the Wolfgang out of these two, it's just not affordable when you start spraying around on customer vehicles.

I still think though that DG AW is crazy slick, gives a great shine, and is far more durable than it has a right to be. :dblthumb2:

If you don't have any DG951 I can send ya' a sample with the towels you're getting. :) (And maybe some others...)
:dunno:

THANKS! So, silly question but will using a QD, spray sealant or spray wax prevent bonding of LSP ( wax or sealant)? BTW, I've got some G35 mods I can send you (I had one prior to the M3).

A pre-dampened MF works much better than a dry one. Ammo hydrate is crazy good, but so is Duragloss rinseless.

@silverfox, it was after watching the Ammo hydrate video I decided to give the method a try.So, any problems with LSP bonding?

I use ONR at QD strength. Mainly because it's very budget friendly.
