A good customer of mine has a 72' Sting Ray and asked if I could detail it for him. It was fully restored about 15 years ago and is documented to using Lead based paint.
The paint looks like it's in really good shape, so minimal if any correction would be required.

Any precautions?

I know if any correction was required you'd definitely want to use a respirator as the airborne dust would be potentially cancerous.

Thanks for any guidance on this...

Wow, that's crazy, I never would have thought there would be lead in car paint, but I guess it's probably for the same reasons it used to be in house paint.
