Meguiar's MT300 DA Polisher in ACTION! (http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/new-car-care-products/89270-meguiar-s-mt300-da-polisher-action.html)
Came into the office today and found a box on my desk... I love days like this!
Meguiar's MT300 Professional Dual Action Polisher
http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=91214
I like the lightweight, thin compact body... this is a lean machine!
http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=91215
My co-worker Bryan keeps his 2014 Subaru BRZ detailed to the max all the time but something happened! Not sure what but Nick's point out the problem...
http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=91216
Scratches! Right smack dab in the middle of the hood!
http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=91217
So lets put the new Meguiar's MT300 Dual Action Polisher to the test using one of the new Meguiar's 5" thin foam cutting discs and some Pinnacle Advanced Compound.
http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=91218
How does she run full out? Smooth and quiet!
http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=91219
http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=91220
The scratches are gone now lets max out the gloss and clarity of the clearcoat....

http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=91222
Let's see how the new Meguiar's MT300 works to machine apply a paste wax....

http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=91224
Car Waxing Heaven!
It doesn't get any easier than this....

http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=91226
Back to perfect.

The polisher comes with the backing plate wrench, a set of spare brushes, a couple of hex head bolts and a hex head wrench to attach the handle.
http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=91229
Meguiar's incorporated a soft rubber tool rest at the front and middle of the tool body so without the handle it will set flat on a bench. Nice.

My personal preference is no handle for a number of reasons, one by placing your hand right on the head of the tool it's easier to control, apply pressure to evenly and less fatiguing to your forearm muscles. It's personal preference but I'd recommend trying it both ways and see which way you like best for your detailing style.

Rumor is these will be in stock around the first week of March!
