Hey guys

Does anyone know if the DP clay is considered a fine or mild grade?

I want to say mild grade, don't know why, but I can't find where I thought I had seen that before . . . .

more of a normal grade. The only true low grade is the Ultra Clay from Pinnacle.

How does the DP and the Pinnacle compare to Clay Magic in terms of aggressiveness/abrasiveness? Thanks in advance.

I believe that DP and most other clays (Meg's consumer and professional mild, Griot's etc.) are similar to Clay Magic in terms of aggressiveness/abrasiveness, in that they are mild. However, Pinnacle I believe says that they can be used very often, and thus are even more mild/less abrasive than Clay Magic and the others.

Pinnacle Ultra Clay (green bars) is very light and can be used often. The standard clays and Pinnacle Poly Clay (yellow) should likely only need to be used 2x a year max. Clay magic is similar to the poly clay.

So do you use a combination of both. 2x a year with the mild formula, and you use the fine grade more frequently?

I use the poly clay twice a year max. I then switch to the ultra clay (green) when needed to spot clean or for minor areas as needed. Now that cars are clayed and cleaned on schedule, I could likely use just the ultra clay 3 or more times per year and skip the standard clay.
