I just purchased the GritGuard universal pad washer and I as wondering what would be the cheapest solution/ solvent to help aid in cleaning & conditioning the pads? My pad washer came with a free sample of Wolf Gang Pad Werks Pad Cleaner & Extender but there has to be a cheaper alternative.

I also have the Grit Guard universal pad washer and I use DP Polishing Pad Rejuvenator. I use just 1 scoop for the bucket.

They make a pad washer? Or do you mean a regular dilution of LATA all purpose cleaner?

You can dilute LATA to like 5% and it makes a great pad solution. Their are numerous dilutions on the bottle for different purposes. Of course it doesn't say "pad cleaner for detailing" - but you get the drift.

$1 for 16oz.

I have the DP powder stuff, WG pad cleaner, BF pad cleaner, and LATA.

BF spray works the best of them all. But, LATA is as good or better than the others.
