My black Wrangler is 2 weeks old. Have washed it a couple times.

I have read and people on this forum told me to seal the paint right away - I think that is what LSP means correct ?

Now my question is don't I have to remove all of the original wax PRIOR to sealing the paint and then re-wax afterwards ?

If so what is the best way to remove the original wax ?

And then can I use a spray wax over the sealer ?

LSP means last step process, so yes LSP would mean wax, selant coating, etc.....

I always suggest washing, decon, clay, wash again then polish with a paint cleaner or cut polish, then your lsp, ideally those are the steps you'd take.

Always use a paint cleaner at the least prior to waxing after washign and claying, ensures prior gunk is removed, for proper bonding.

So on my new vehicle should I

1) remove the old wax first
2) and then paint cleaner
3) and then seal
4) and then wax ?

Is that the right order ?

Keep in mind it is winter time here so very cold. Have read most products work best above 50 degrees.

So my goal is to just do what I have to do until Spring gets here. I was originally thinking I might not be able to seal until Spring.

Paint is pretty good right now so I don't think I need to clay just yet.
