I know Meguiars, and I do like using Megs, but does anyone know of other products that are SMAT? I think 3D Products as well

I believe the Optimum polishes are all SMAT now.

Speaking of this question, is there a chart or something that categorizes different brands as either SMAT or DAT polishes?

Not wanting to step on Meguiar's toes...

What are the compounds/polishes...that use some combination of both diminishing and non-diminishing abrasive technologies---in the same bottle...known as?

Optimum Hyper polish is SMAT but used to be both.

OK...Then what is the mixture of its abrasives called?
Does it go by something like: rat-a-tat-DAT-SMAT? {LOL!}

[One of the Menzerna compounds goes by AAT.]

I always thought the term "hybrid compound" would have been an accurate description.

As long as "hybrid" works for you...:xyxthumbs:

However:
It makes me think of hodgepodge.
And: Admixture, medley...even mongrel.

It's been mentioned that at least some
of 3D's/HD's abrasives are non-diminishing.

There are two new, soon to be forthcoming,
3D products that are stated to contain:
"Adaptive Abrasive Technology" (AAT) type of abrasives.

However:
This is not the name of (or probably not the same as) the above mentioned Menzerna's:
"Agglomerate Abrasive Technology" (AAT) abrasives.

It appears to me:
Other Brands do make an honest attempt to not
infringe upon Meguiar's SMAT/DAT nomenclature.

Well it doesn't appear to me, to my surprise, that Meguiar's has trademarked the SMAT designation.

Do we know which of Menzerna's products contain both types of abrasives?
