This Thursday Sam Mascia, owner of Port St. Lucie Auto Body will be bringing us his 1956 Chevy Bel Air to prep for the 23rd Annual Eckler’s Classic Chevy Winter National Convention taking place February, 6th, 7th & 8th in Orlando, Florida

My buddy Jeff detailed this 1956 Chevy over the summer so all the hard work has already been done. We're going to refresh the finish via machine polishing and then seal the paint to create a wet, glassy look.

It's the black and silver 1956 in-between the turquoise and yellow Shoebox Chevys in this pictures.

Wetsanding
Also, we'll be finishing the sanding and buffing on Mike Gelter's 1933 Nash Roadster Streetrod.

I knocked out the driver's side and hood so all we have to do is finish the back and the passenger side.

This is our Thursday night projects for the month of January.

Now that the Show Car Garage has expanded, perhaps Max, eh, I mean Bob should move the sign over the entrance door, since now that is about the center of the show car garage! :)

Hi Mike ! Does it have to be a professional detailer with experience ? I have basic knowledge and have worked with buffer, and waxed boats 7 years ago, but just did my own car from beginning to all the way down.
Turned out nice , but I don't have such experience as the professional detailers.
If I could , I would be happy to attend.
Thanks Mike

Also just to add....

There were a few deeper scratches on the hood of Flathead Eddie's hotrod Model A that I buffed out last night.

I pointed them out to Eddie and told him if he likes, I can machine sand the deeper scratches and then remove them if he brings his car to Autogeek's Show Car Garage.

He's attending the class tomorrow night and if he brings his hotrod Model A we'll do the work and everyone will get a chance to check out his sweet little roadster.
