Good morning all,
Was wondering if anyone in the vast world of Autogeeks plays ice hockey?
And if so, did you ever wax or seal your skate blades.

There is a product called SK-8T Fuel you place on the blades for cutting and glide performance plus reduces friction on the blade by maintaining a permanent liqued layer between the skate blade and ice surface. But at 25 dollars for 21g.... 0.74 oz seems steep. Does enyone know of something that might be comparable.
I've used collinite 845 on my son's flyer snow sled and worked well.
Any input would be appreciated. Joe

"This permanent, micro-thin, particle-free liquid film reduces friction and improves overall blade performance. SK8T Fuel reduces friction by maintaining a liquid layer between the skate blade and ice surface at all times."

hmm.. that seems to be working on the same principal as Slick 50. I suppose it would work if you applied it about every 5 seconds.
