Customer dropped off their 2011 Honda Accord, black.
When I first looked at the paint I knew it was passed through the automatic brush washes, many time.
Fairly deep swirls, oxidation, loaded with contaminants.

My steps...

Washed. Mr. Pink
Removed contaminants using my speedy prep towel.
Step one, Flex 3401, Lake Country Orange Flat pad, Uber.
Step two, GG6, Lake Country Flat pad. Optimum Hyper Polish.
DG 601
DG 105
Coated tires, Turtle Wax Tire Coating
Cleaned engine and dressed with Meguiar's Hyper Dressing
Cleaned interior using Meguiar's APC along with my DP Cleaning Gun.
Conditioned the leather using Meguiar's Leather GoldClass Conditinor.

The paint was just thrashed but the end results were to my liking.

Before and afters...

Just did one of these myself. Very severely swirled.

Great work.

I find that Honda paint corrects pretty easy which is nice, how was that accord paint to work with?

That was wiped out, as Mike Phillips would say. Nice work though!!

When I worked on it, it wasn't all that bad. I used M105 with a LC White Polishing Pad and M205 with a LC Blue Finishing pad.

CarPro Fixer with the white pad wasn't able to correct it as quick as I would have liked. I had to finish this job quickly so after my test spots decided with m105 and 205.

Nice job, great save. Where the seats coated leather? If so, why the use of the conditioner?
Once again great job

Very nice work...that paint is radiant!

Bad thing about soft Honda paint: It scratches easy

Here's a test spot on trashed 2009 with Megs UC and orange CCS pad. For the time and money, I stopped at Megs UC with this one. Then M205 the next time I detailed it (he learned his lesson about proper washing so it was in decent shape the next time around). This was with a crappy camera that I could never get to focus quite right.

Seems that the leathers had a coating on them but looked dingy, the conditioner made them look much better.
It helps to condition them to help out with friction, wear and tear.

Your right, it does scratch easy, too easy.
It's fairly easy to correct , the paint shines up really good when you polish it.
The DG 601 and DG 105 puts it over the top.
Great combo:dblthumb2:
