I have a Karcher Pressure washer, K5.65, rated at 2000psi and 1.4gpm:
Amazon.com : Karcher K 5.65QC 2000PSI 1.4GPM Electric Pressure Washer : Patio, Lawn & Garden (http://www.amazon.com/Karcher-5-65QC-2000PSI-Electric-Pressure/dp/B00HFSUL9K)

I am planning on buying the MTM Foam Lance made for electric pressure washer:
Amazon.com : MTM Hydro Professional 2600 PSI Adjustable Foamer : Pressure Washer Accessories : Patio, Lawn & Garden (http://www.amazon.com/MTM-Hydro-Professional-Adjustable-Foamer/dp/B00EDSLVQC/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top)

With both the following adapters to fit my pressure washer:
Karcher HD/HDS Pressure Washer Fitting (http://www.autogeek.net/karcher-hd-fitting.html)
Karcher X Series Pressure Washer Fitting (http://www.autogeek.net/karcher-x-series-fitting.html)

Will I get a good foam? Looking at various threads, this one for instance: http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/auto-detailing-tools-accessories/74297-comparison-mtm-hydro-cannon-gas-vs-electric-model.html it seems like I should be all good!

It also seems like there's a foam cannon specifically made for electric pressure washers, is this true?

Thanks for the help, just want to make sure I buy the proper one!

I'll be getting the adapters shown in this post:

Now, just need to see what foam cannon I want, I see there are some that have different requirement, the AG one is rated for higher pressure/GPM while the one I linked, the MTM is rated for lower pressure/GPM.

Will it matter? The MTM one that is rated for lower is the MTM 14.0349 while the one that is rated for higher pressure, which is the same as the AG is the MTM 14.0263

From my experience, it does matter. I have the 14.0349 that is rated for lower pressure. It is mated to a Greenworks 1500 electric pw from Lowes. My buddy has the 14.0263 (this seems to be the most common one) mated to a 1700psi Greenworks. Using the same concentration of Mr Pink or Honeydew Snow Foam, I consistently get better foam than he does. His is always a little more water. Mine is more snowy....which is what I wanted.

He will likely get the other model as he recognized the same differences that I noticed.

If you're going to use an electric like you've mentioned, I'd go for the 14.0349.

Anything bad to sat about it? How long have you had it? I assume it's the same use as all other foam cannon out there, except it's made for low pressure?

I already have my Karcher pw, so I have to adapt the cannon accordingly!

Thanks again for your input and info, any more information is appreciated :)

I ordered mine from Pressure Washers Direct. At the time, that was the only place I found that carried both models. This way, I knew I was getting the one I wanted.

I've had it for over a year and it has worked flawlessly. The use is the same as the other model. I do run a little water through it once it is empty and while the foam dwells on the car to make sure the cannon is clean. I'm not sure if it gets gunked up over time, so I do it.

I called MTM Hydro before I ordered and confirmed with them that there was a difference between the two models. The doohickey whatchamacallit inside is different allowing it to work well with lower psi electrics. Keep in mind that you may not get the kind of foam that you see on the Chemical Guys videos, but you do get good foam nonetheless.

Here is a video of mine. Never mind the portrait landscape. I was so excited about the foam that I didn't think to turn the iPhone to landscape orientation. This is with CG Mr Pink.

Great info, I'll be in the market for a cannon fairly soon too.

I found this video of someone comparing a high pressure vs low pressure cannon from MTM. I'm assuming they are the two referenced earlier. Hope it helps. It looks like the new low pressure model is much better with a lower pressure machine.

I have a Husky electric 2000psi, it uses the Bosch fitting.

MTM Foam canon doesnt sell one with this specific fitting.

So, I bought this from amazon, this should just about cover any pressure washer to foam cannon.

I use a Karcher and the foam cannon gun. Works good but as for the specs on the Karcher I wouldn't know now. Here's a picture of me with Me Pink.

I bought the adaptor on ebay for like 15. Cheapest I could find.
