Backing Plates

My Flex backing plate came apart today, so I am in the hunt for a new one. Are there any particular backing plates I should avoid/buy? All my pads are 6.5" (Über pads from Detailers Domain).

I dont think you have much of an option as there is only one other flex backing plate that is available seperately. Besides the stock 5.5" backing plate that comes already installed on it (which you can purchase seperately) theres the 4 3/8 backing plate. The other option is the lake country interchangeable backing plate system that includes both a 4" and 6" backing plate. Its backing plate is different and only can be used with the flex as it has teeth because its gear driven...
