I previously bought a gallon of OPP almost 3 years ago. The remaining portion can be seen right in the small bottle. The new gallon which I split with a mate can be seen on the left
The new stuff is yellow and gets chemical separation.
The old stuff is white. Almost identical in colour to their wax. In the 3 years it has never suffered any type of separation.
When I bought it the yellowing was immediately obvious. I contacted the supplier and they said something about the sun could effect its colour but will still work the same. At the time I asked I had not spotted any separation.
I have been told as far as they are aware the formula has not change but they don't even look like the same product. I have not tested the new stuff yet but concerned about its quality. Should I be or just shake it before use?
