This 2010 Acura MDX, driver's seat the taipe grey color on the seat is wearing away in a few spots, mainly on the outside bolster. Car only has 39K so I guess Honda needs to work on the leather durability? Of course, previous owner may not have done anything to maintain. I was thinking of trying to mix some color to match and applying. However leather finish is not glossy, it's sort of eggshell/flat finish. The main part where it wore is on the outside of the bolster so I wouldn't mind experimenting on that since it's not the seating surface so I do have to worry about it being that visible, rubbing off onto clothes, etc.
Any recommendations on product and/or technique?
I use Zaino Bros for conditioner and that new car smell but is it any good for helping to protect the finish from rubbing off further?
