I'm looking for a interior vinyl protectant for my mercedes MB TEX vinyl seats and for the interior hard plastics. I'm thinking of using two products for each material. I tryed Lexol Vinylex and it's pretty good but it's a little too shiny for me.

So I have two questions
What is the best product for Mercedes vinyl seats?

What is the best low gloss protectant that will give you a good protective coat?

I'm really not concerned about price. As they say you get what you pay for...

Thanks in advance

I use Ultima Interior Trim Guard Plus, it can be used on leather and products like MB-Tex. Gives a great layer of protection and makes everything feel soft. Since it is a sealant it doesn't require application as often as other products.

Ultima Interior Guard Plus 4 oz., interior protectant, rubber & vinyl protectant, rubber dressing (http://www.autogeek.net/ultima-interior-guard-4.html)

303 Aerospace or Blackfire Interior Protectant. Both leave a matte finish (finish with a dry MF buff).

After the "plastics" have been cleaned:
I use 303 AP for the protectant-product.

Another vote for 303 AP but another one of my favorites is Einszett Cockpit Premium.

I like the DP interior stuff. The cleaner and protectant leaves the interior looking and smelling new. No fake shine or greasy look.

I use 303 AP on our MB tex, but I'm biased. I have used Blackfire protectant before and it works very well. 31582

:iagree:With all three! :xyxthumbs:

303 is a great product, at an even better price. BF of course is great as well, just not at the same price. And then there is Einszett, pretty much built by Germans for Germans (BGFG). (Yet it works darned well.)

I don't like 303 on the areas I touch often. The arm rests, shift knob, center panels of seats, and steering wheel are areas that come to mind. The backs of seats, side bolsters, and the head pieces of seats are good to go though. For the areas I don't like 303 AP, I use 1Z Einszett CP or Meguiar's Quik Interior Detailer. They both have a "dressing" in that they make things a little darker, both clean well, and both have UV protection.
