Hey guys, I just bought a barely used black 2014 Chevy Suburban but the car has a lot of swirls and some hazing. Is there a one step polish you guys recommend to at least minimize the swirls and hazing as I'm really not up for a full day of detailing in NY winter. Also please suggest pads to use with porter cable.
Appreciate any recommendations.

Wolfgang Total Swirl Remover on a Lake Country 5 1/2" White CCS Polishing Pad, Speed 5

It has diminishing abrasive technology, so it cuts decent and finishes well, especially on harder paints

HD Adapt + LC Pink or B&S Orange + Rupes 21.

Finishes/ Cuts excellent on GM Black with little to zero micro-marring.

And I've used that combo on a 2015 GMC Yukon Denail, 2013 Chevy Camaro ZL1, and a 2012 Chevy Silverado 2500... all GM Black.

However, with Suburban you are going to have 15+ hours into it if you are even remotely serious about addressing the defects.

Best,
-Gabe

Optimum Poli-Seal, applied using a polishing pad;
Follow up with an application of Opti-Seal:

2500 is a great product as well!! I use it on a regular basis for a single step!

Menzerna FG400 great one step, cuts and finished down amazingly! With this in your arsenal there's little else you'll need, maybe Mene 4000/4500 for a really amazing finish, but FG400 is an incredible one step. LC Orange pad if heavily swirled, LC White if not. Boom, done seal it.

HD ADAPT on a Meg's 5" burgundy cutting pad. Good cut and excellent finish. You could also try Pinnacle Advanced Compund, Blackfire SRC or FG400 with the same pad.

Meguiar's M205, CarPro Reflect, and Optimum Hyper Polish are my workhorses for 1-Step polishing. I typically use them with LC flat foam black or white, or Meg's or B&S finishing MF pads (depending on what the test spot tells me).

Are you looking to truly fix it or make it look great until Spring time until you can do it right? If the latter you can't beat Auto Finesse Tripple.
