Not too picture heavy on this on, but I wanted to show what just a couple of bad washes can do to a paints finish. This is "new" Chevy truck was brought to us by the customer who assumed like most do that it's a new truck and only had two washes and there shouldn't be any scratches.

He was surprised to see this

The finished truck with the damage corrected and Opti-coat pro applied and an XPEL ultimate clear bra on front.

I'm seeing a lot of this with relatively off the floor vehicles, which look fairly decent upon delivery, then look like total ass just a mere week or two later, after a wash or so.

I'm beginning to believe in many cases that it is not the owner screwing up the paint, but the dealer, with horrid washes, the damage is already present, and perhaps hidden with some final dealer used glaze to fill and hide their sloppy prep.

Pretty common it seems. Great work, happy customer is a great thing!
