Removing or covering swirls in clear bra??

I have a customer who takes good car of her car, the paint looks great, has never seen an automatic car wash. she came to me to see if i could clean up the clear bra on the hood. there is quite a bit of swirls on it and it really kills the look of the hood. i've Googled it and came up with quite a few sites, but most were wishy-washy about if it could be done, or the steps require to get it done.

has anyone had good luck cleaning up clear bra? and if so could you shed some light on the process?

Yes it can be done. It's not too much different than working on paint. Just keep the polisher speed low (~ 3.5 for DA) and take it easy. Use polish/polishing pad - not compound/cutting pad.
