 Hope you boys and girls in Texas are watching the weather. Hurricane Dean is now a Category 4 storm and it's got a lot of open water to cross! Looks like you guys that live in S. Texas should watch the closest. Good luck.

I'm certainly glad it does not look like it will hit Florida. I also certainly don't wish it on anyone else.

That's the thing that sucks about them, you don't want them to hit you, but at the same time, that means someone else will get it! Why can't they just stay out in the water and leave us all alone?!?! :(

Boy, that eye is so well defined.... It is a serious storm for sure!!! Jamaica and Caymans will get the first clobering!!

Here on Long Island (NY) they predict one for us every year... I just pray they stay away also... A major hurricane (3-5) would demolish us in a direct hit....

Good luck to all, and stay safe!!

remember a little storm called Wilma, bounced off Cancun, swirled around and came back at us. These puppies are never good until they are gone !

I know we are not out of danger yet. According to the weather models its does not look like it will hit Florida and hopefully it won't. They are not always right and this storms can quikly change direction. When hurricane Charley hit 3 years ago the National Weather Service was saying it was a Category 2 Storm and should hit around the Tampa area. Not even an hour latter it as a Category 4 Storm heading right for the area I live in. Within the next hour the storm was on top of the area I live in.

Just make sure everything is done and get the hell out of there very early! My 2 girls lost everything in biloxi and the insurance has not yet pay a dime to them. Just be careful and safe everyone.

How about this one. I thought it would never end. Hit Florida . . . TWICE. Lasted for 22 days.
