So I use the lake country smart pads and wanted to try something new. I have a flex whats a good choice of pads for this machine?

Do any of yall use the pad washer if so is it worth it?

Has anybody tried the new lake county pads?

if you are sticking with foam, Buff & Shine are very. They have a great selection of 4" flat pads.

the Flex and the hybrid pads go hand in hand. i have tried many pads with my Flex and always seem to get the best results using the LC Hybrid pads. others to try are the DRC-1000 and the CarPro Flash Pads

Without a doubt the best pads for the 3401 are the Hybrids.

Agreed! +1. I am not sure, however, I believe the Hybrid Pads by Lake Country were made for the Flex. But either way, the Hybrids are the way to go...the 5" or 6.5"

Since you have the Flex, I'd reccomend getting Mikes book on it. I recently got it, almost finished reading it, but it has pages of different pads, sizes and how/why their good for the flex.

Woohoo Black Saturday!

The FLEX will spin 6 1/2" pads very efficiently on flat and curved panels

6 1/2" are 40% bigger than 5 1/2" pads and make things go more quickly

I use my old PC for 3-4" pads and Cyclo brushes

Just something to consider

Carpros flash pads are great.

Hybrids, IMO, are the only way to go. All I run are the 5" pads, but need to get some 6.5" orange for 1-step large vehicles.

It's made by LC
Not sure why it's called a hybrid but everyone swears by them
