I recently got 3 bottles of Reload. All of them are the 2014 formula. The first one I received had a beige like color with a few oil spots in it. From all that I've read on the forum this is to be considered normal. The second bottle was bone white as if it was the old formulation. The third bottle was beige in color but not as beige as the first and without the tiny oil specks.

What gives?

Where did you buy them from runrun?? You may be getting some old stock/new stock. So far this year we've had 2014, 2014V1 (NEW and IMPROVED: super durable but problematic) and 2014V2 (re-formulated). I know CarPro-US has the 2014V1 and 2014V2 clearly identified. Personally I love the 2014V1 which is more durable but definitely requires a little effort

They all say 2014 but none has a V designation on them. All from AG.

The first 2014 just had a 2014 sticker. The second had a 2014 with NEW and Improved (see below) the V2 has the 2014 but don't remember seeing a version designation (let me see if I can scour a picture)

I could not find a specific designation (or a picture of V2). I just know of the New and Improved and REFORMULATED New and Improved because of the Product Reviews I did on it, and having interviewed Corey at CarPro-US

I don't think I mind the tricky version if it means more durability. But then again I say that until I'm up late on night cursing at it because I'm having trouble. LOL

I will doubt that you will have trouble. Did you see my EXAGGERATED How-To where I did everything wrong ON PURPOSE (black truck, full sun, over sprayed) and it came out just fine??

The first two photos are the older 2014 formula and the last is the latest with the newer bottle.

So is V2 the reformulation of the "old" new formula everyone was having problems with?

I just got the 50ml that was on BOGO , haven never tried it yet I thought was good way to test it out for cheap . Can this be used on top of say , BF AFPP ?

I'm not 100% sure but I believe the samples of reload are of the old formulation. They work well though.

I have/had both older and newer version of Reload, but not the newest V2 version that Carpro carries.

Reckon it's going to maybe be a bit confusing for a period of time when folks comment, as to which version they are chatting about.

I of course cannot correctly describe what changes have actually taken place between the 3 different versions that have now been in our hands the past year or so, but can say this.

From the 2013 to the 2014v1 version, there was a change in the color of the product. From white, to beige.

This to me sort of indicates that there was perhaps more done to the prior 2013 formula than just a simple stronger concentration enhancement. That most likely another ingredient was added, or substituted for another.

For those who have recently sampled the latest 2014 v2 version, may I ask what color is it now? (just curious)

The first Reload I ever bought from Corey/Carpro was dated 7/14, came in a 400ml bottle, pure white in color and had the 2014 sticker on board (pictured above) No issues with this earlier version.

The second two bottles of Reload 2014v1 were bought from AGO, 500ml clear bottles, product was beige. Again, just the 2014 Sticker.

This last version was the version I had the oily issues with. Both bottles were returned for refund.
