I always put my MF's in the dryer--on high.

I put em in on low, no sheet, with blue plastic dryer balls. No worries.

The real question: is she hot?

I always use a dryer, also it's just towels, $70 or not, no need to be mad at another human being really, they didnt drop cancer in your body, they washed a towel wrong, perspective....

besides, drying them should do know harm

She did it right then. For plush towels I like to use low or no heat tumble dry. Plush towels benefit from the tumbling to fluff up the fibers.

I always read no heat/dryer. Only air dry cause heat destroys MF. U mean to tell me I have to get her flowers now? Shes gorgeous.

I really don't understand why you guys are afraid to use high heat, I've washed a gazillion MF's and none of them have melted. Never set any of my clothes on fire either.

We went through this on another forum with a textile expert who was just laughing at us and quoting the melting temps of the various plastics that MF's are made from and what temperatures dryers get to. IIRC he was saying that MF's were more resistant to heat than many clothing fabrics.

Hopefully it's not against the rules now to link to "Autopia": Autopia.org Forums - Auto Detailing & Car Care Discussion Forum (http://www.autopia.org/forums/auto-detailing-101-a/20384-microfiber-drying-2.html?highlight=dryer)

lol I just had a similar experience that i posted about a few weeks back. I store all my detailing supplies at my parents house since my apartment doesnt have room for it all. I go to their house one day and my mom thought she would do something nice and wash ALL my mf towels. She is the type of person that uses bleach in every load and heavy on fabric softener. Long story short she ruined about $400 in MF towels. She had good intentions so i couldnt be mad.

However, in your position, unless i read it wrong, you should be fine. I throw mine in the dryer after I wash them. I do low with no fabric sheets. If you must beat her just remember the "rule of thumb" as long as its under the size of your thumb its legal to beat her with. Lol jk.
