Really wish I had taken more/better pictures as the before pics don't give a true idea of how bad it was. I don't get to take as many pictures as I would like or post here enough due to lack of time.

That is one cool little Midget!
I've been wrenching on winged Sprint Cars for almost thirty years and have great respect for the guys that tossed those things around in the days before full cages, power steering, wide tires etc.
It took some serious stones!
Not to mention the guys that built them before a fat credit card and a call to 1-800-racecar could buy you a ready-to-race machine.
Make her look pretty!

That's a neat little machine and I love V-8.

That's pretty badass. Crazy seeing those raced nowadays. Lime Rock had an even called the Festival of Classics, and it was an awesome experience seeing and hearing those machines brought to life.

I got a kick out of working on it, I like odd ball stuff at this point everything else starts to kind of blend together. I'm glad you guys like it as much as I did.

Awesome classic. Do you know any of the history of the car?

I hope whoever found it was able to get the "whole story" about the racer. Who owned and raced it. Why was it put away and when. Any of it's racing history, tracks, wins and so on.

That stuff is just about as much fun as running the car again.
