The more I wash my car, the more I'm discovering paint defects. Can you please help me identify these? And any suggestions to fix them? (I'm planning on buying SwirlX and Ultimate Compound but I thought I just consult these in here first.)

1. Is this a blemish or starting sign of clear coat failure? I can't remove it with ONR.

2. Blemish or type II water spot?

3. Same thing, just appeared out of nowhere.

4. This must be a sticker before. I noticed this at the dealership but failed to brought it up with a dealer. How do you remove a sticker residue?

5. I also don't know what this is. Is it a form of egg attack or paint transfer from someone on parking lot? Can't remove with during a wash. I first thought it was bird feces but no.

6. I think my car's paint look decent when viewed 2-3 feet away but when I get close, I get this. I am using the two bucket method, each bucket with an ONR on it. I also use distilled water for my ONR detail spray. I'm washing my car at night to avoid sunlight. I just don't know what to do.

Thank you for your help.

The car has not been polished yet?

Are you planning on using a DA or by hand?

To me looks like you have bird dropping etching in pics 1,2, and 3 as for pics 4 and 5 it look like some kind of paint transfer, and number 6 is definitely water spots with that said tackle one at a time the bird etching will most likely need a 2 step polishing like meguiars ultimate compound/polish found locally which can be used to remove that potential paint transfer, and water spots, also for future water spotting it's good to have something like Carpro spotless

No, I just washed it. No polishing yet but I will.

I'll try that.
