Because of the nooks and crannies I'm having a difficult time getting this even.

How long should I let it dry before buffing and trying to get it level

I don't know if you can see high spots

This isn't working out very well for me. It's difficult to get coverage and when I lightly buff its leaving marks. You sure I shouldn't let it dry a little

Really hard to tell on my cell, but some of those streaks look like the wheel isn't 100% clean and you're streaking some brake dust.

Dlux can't fix that, unfortunately.

The surface is a flat paint. I don't think it has a clear coat. Would that have something to do with it not going on well

Depends on the temperture but should wait from 1 to 10 minutes depending on conditions for it to cure and then wipe.

Just my opinion but I only use dlux for rubber trim and plastic. I use opti coat 2.0 and now gloss-coat for painted surfaces. I'd pick a different coating.

I have successfully used it on chrome wheels

Apply like any other coating

I wiped off the excess within a minute or two, until the towel does not grab anymore

:iagree: The only other thing I will add is not to wipe very hard light is better and for trim do not wipe off.
